At what speed will speed trains go?
The maximum speed of the Pendolino speed trains, in regular operation, will be only 160 kilometres per hour, as that is the speed supported by the Czech railway corridors. Therefore, once the trains are put into operation, they will not go any faster on the routes between Prague, Berlin, Vienna or Bratislava.
