Graduate from the Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Social Sciences – European Studies. Studied one year of the High School in the Czech Republic, completed the rest of his studies and passed the school-leaving examination at a college in the USA.
He had worked for Deloitte. Later on he acted as a Project manager administrating requests for grants from EU structural funds as well as state funds.
Between 2007 and 2010 worked for the diplomatic representation of the capital city Prague in Brussels (co-called Prague House) as a deputy head of the office. In this position he negotiated the transfer of Galileo´s headquarters (GNSS) to Prague and took part in the promotion of Prague during the Czech Presidency of the EU in first half-year of 2009.
