“The key construction is an elevated bridge by Opatovice nad Labem, which is the largest bridge navigating D35 over Elbe and its surroundings. At the start of July, cars will be allowed to a newly relocated road no. I/36, on a bridge by Časy and on Rokytno Junction”, said the Minister of Transport Karel Havlíček.

On 15 December, a stretch on D35 between Opatovice nad Labem and Časy in the length of 12.6 kilometres will open for normal operation. Next year, workers will finish construction of another 14.7 kilometres in the stretch Časy-Ostrov. The entire motorway should be finished by 2028.

This year’s construction season is culminating with 151.5 kilometres of new motorways being currently constructed. By the end of the year, 46.5 kilometres will open on D11, D6, D7 or D55.
