The Registry of the Ministry of Transport accepts personal and postal letter submissions. In case the delivered document in an analogue form is incomplete or impossible to read (damaged) and it is possible to determine the sender of the document and his contact details, the sender will be informed about the problem and further steps will be taken to eliminate it. If the problem cannot be removed or it is not possible to determine the sender of the document and his contact details, the damaged document is not further processed by the Ministry of Interior.
 
To make the processing of delivered letters faster, please state the ref. No. or the managing department, if known.

Data Messages (Submissions in an Electronic Form) can be Delivered:
  •  through the data box information system – the maximum size of one data message is 20 MB,
  •  by sending an e-mail to the electronic address of the registry – the maximum size of one data message is 10 MB,
  •  on a portable data storage device – the maximum size of one data message is 10 MB.
 
Rules for Submissions on Portable Data Storage Devices:
  •  Permitted portable data storage devices (hereinafter referred to as the Storage Devices) include a CD, DVD or USB flash drive.
  •  The submitted storage device will be returned only upon an express request made when it is submitted at the registry.
 
Accepted Formats of Data Messages:
Static text documents and static combined text and image files:
  • PDF, Version 1.7 and above
  • PDF/A, ISO 19005
  • TXT
  • RTF
  • DOC, document in Microsoft Word Version 6.0 and above
  • DOCX, document in Microsoft Word Version 6.0 and above
  • XLS/XLSX
  • ZFO (ZFO data format is intended only for processing by technological data boxes)
 
Static image files:
  • PNG, ISO/IEC 15948
  • TIF/TIFF, Revision 6 – uncompressed
  • JPG/JPEG/JFIF, ISO/IEC 10918
 
Dynamic image files:
  •  MPEG-2, ISO/IEC 13818
  •  MPEG-1, ISO/IEC 11172
  •  GIF
 
Sound files:
  •  MPEG-1 Audio Layer II or MPEG-2 Audio Layer II (MP2)
  •  MPEG-1 Audio Layer III or MPEG-2 Audio Layer III (MP3)
  •  WAV, PCM
 
Databases:
XML, where a part of the submitted file in an XML data format is a description of its structure using an XML schema or a Document Type Definition (DTD).
 
E-invoices (from 1 January 2019):
  •  UBL 2.1 ISO/IEC 19845:2015
  •  UN/CEFACT CII (Cross Industry Invoice)
  •  isdoc/isdocx (Information System Document) Version 5.2 and above
 

Requirements for Delivering Data Messages:

If one submission includes several electronic files, it must be clear which file is the actual submission and which files are its attachments.
 

Data Message Security:

If the data message cannot be displayed in a user-friendly way (e.g. it is impossible to read), contains a data format that the Ministry of Interior does not accept, or a computer program which could cause damage to the information system or to the information processed by the public authority, the registry shall not accept it and the sender, if known, shall be informed thereof.
 

Delivery Receipt Confirmation:

A message confirming the delivery of a data message does not confirm that the message complies with the requirements for a submission under other legal regulations. If it is found that the data message in this sense does not have the required particulars or has other defects, the submitter will be asked to remove it, for which he will be given a reasonable time.
